I am reaching out today to remind you that you are not alone, and we are all in this together. Collectively we’re all impacted by the unfolding nature of the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s a time of unthinkable change and challenge that will endure for some time to come. Throughout this time I plan to reach out and offer my thoughts with the hope to assist you to navigate this unprecedented time.

My 3 wellbeing tips for uncertain times:

Acknowledge the suffering that is currently weighing on your heart and mind. Everyone one of us has been touched by this unfolding situation in uniquely painful ways. It’s ok and normal to feel a range of intense and varied emotions at this time.

Relationships are the key to moving forward in meaningful ways. Social distancing does not have to mean disconnection. Reach out to friends, family and colleagues that can be a refuge of hope and uplift for you.

Plan to make your wellbeing a priority. There has never been a more important time to focus on our individual and collective wellbeing. Taking time to consciously build a wellbeing plan will enable you to feel good, function well and relate better to others.

If you would like help to create a meaningful and sustainable wellbeing plan, please reach out. I am really passionate about empowering people to bring out the best in themselves.

As we wade into the unknown together, let's reflect on the wise words of Helen Keller; “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.”

Until next time, take care and be kind.

Best wishes,
Meg
